Wilderness Canoe Expedition into the Quetico
Though most of the Quetico was burnt to the ground in 2021, the fishing was as incredible as always. This is hands down the best Smallmouth Bass fishery on the planet, as we landed 20 inch Bronze Backs daily. Bonus this time up we found some monster largemouth & crappie. Walleye fishing was just as good and my fish taco recipe was such a hit we had them four times.

Unlike our Quetico expedition, access is park & paddle with only one very small portage to reach the ”paddle only” section of the park. A forgotten “non operational“ park with some of the best Smallmouth Bass fishing in the world!
Using the best ultralight camping gear (Nemo) we will be on the constant move exploring this vast fishery hitting new water each day.

Sutton River Aug 26th - Sept 6th 2026
$6900 per person, based on double occupancy. 1 spot available.
Wed, Aug 26th. Fly to CIU, KDE will pick you up, clear customs, and drive to White River, ON for dinner and overnight hotel.
Thurs, Aug 27th. Drive to air service and fly to the Sutton River. Tow service to the first rapids where we will begin our 75mile float.
Fri-Fri, fish, eat, sleep. Saturday Sept 5th float plane picks us up, drive to CIU hotel (hotel not included). Fly home on Sunday Sept 6th.
