Starting with good water to fish the next most important expedition requirement has to be the waterfront accommodations. After a long day on the water, convenient waterfront lodging allows for a quick mentality shift towards cocktails, dinner, & cigars. This is where you’ll really get to meet anglers from across the globe telling fish stories into the wee hours of the night.



Your KDE Host an expert on all things fly fishing, certified in security, first aid, and provides Garmin Inreach Satellite communications with a direct SOS line to Global Rescue

    Known locally as PG, and known globally as the permit capital of the world. I‘ve been running expeditions to PG since the turn of the century. Rate includes waterfront lodging, pangas (no daily time limit), boat lunches, water, permits & licenses. Not included gratuities, booze, local restaurants, & travel to PG. Gear anglers welcome to vertical jig the reef and light troll to provide fresh fish at dinners.

    Sample Itinerary

    Day 1: All meet in the upstairs restaurant/bar of the BZE airport. Check in with Tropic Air, my driver will take us to Travelers Rum Distillery and my favorite Belize City restaurant (on the water) for lunch then back to airport for our flight to PG. Our guides will pick us up there and take us to our hotel. Rig up, dinner, and sip on that fancy rum we just bought.


    Day 2 - 6: Fish, Eat, Sleep with an available overnight camp on the reef (tropical island) for those who would like too.


    Day 7: Guides will drop us off at the PG airport for our Tropic Air flight back to BZE and our international flights home.


    If not a fan of small planes van transfers can be arranged.

      Expedition includes 6 nights / 5 days fishing with private beach front villa, personal chefs, 4x4 SUV rental, and 2 anglers per boat.

      This is quickly becoming our most popular expedition. Dorado, Tuna, Roosterfish, Sailfish, Marlin, Jacks, just to name a few species that we will be sight-fishing.


      Gear anglers welcome throwing a 1/4 ounce bucktail jig that resembles our flies perfectly.

      Sample Itinerary

      Day 1: All meet at the outside bar area of the SJD airport. Pick up SUV for a 2hr drive to the villa, stopping at a grocery store for essentials and beer. Dinner at the villa will be waiting for us. After dinner we can rig up for an early morning start.


      Day 2 - 6: Fish, Eat, Sleep


      Day 7: Early morning start for the 2hr drive back to airport where the group normally meets at the swanky breakfast restaurant before flying home.

      Baja Pacific Marlin Expedition

        The Pacific, Hotel/Fish Camp

        What separates us from the rest of the pack fishing Mag Bay, is that our fish camp is a 15min boat ride to the Marlin Grounds! Fish camp includes personal chef, beer, tequila, bottled water, sodas, and is set up with tents, canopies, tables, chairs and insane 24-7 beach fishing. Watch the entire video to get a good feel of what this expedition is like.

        Sample Itinerary

        Day 1: All meet at the outside bar area of the SJD airport. Pick up SUV and drive 1hr to Todo Santos for dinner and overnight hotel. 


        Day 2: Hotel breakfast and a 3hr drive to remote pacific town where our guides pick us up by boat and take us to the fish camp.


        Day 3 - 7: Fish, Eat, Sleep


        Day 7: After fishing we drive back to Todo Santos for dinner, cocktails, and overnight hotel.


        Day 8: Easy drive back to SJD airport for our travel home.
