Wading knee deep for bonefish is how Knee Deep Expeditions was born. There is something about being dropped off on a spit of land to chase permit, bonefish & tarpon. Island hoping, poling the flats in the boats, or vertical jigging the reef for dinner seem to be the three main attractions.

Stunning sunrise’s, full Milky Way Galaxy views, and incredible tropical island wildlife are just a few things you’ll see camping on the Sapodilla Cayes. A Coast Guard protected Marine Reserve visible from the mainland of Belize, Guatemala, & Honduras. 

Stew chicken, vegetable rice, pork chops, fresh strawberry grouper, & yellow jack sashimi just to name a few items we’ve eaten on the outer cayes. As always in Belize fresh “pepper” aka homemade hot sauce, Copalli rum with citrus (think orange lime) really good, & a good old fashion driftwood campfire.

Fresh caught seafood, steak, pretty much whatever you want.

20 inch smallmouth daily on big poppers & baitfish patterns. Walleye also crush the same big baitfish patterns along the rock reefs and sandy beaches. Big Pike target ambush points and lay up in the grass. Lake Trout can be targeted by trolling full sinking fly line if that’s your thing.

By far our favorite place to camp, listen, and be one with nature. 

Walleye fish tacos are a big hit here! We also provide steak fajitas, smoked sausage, potato & onions, brats with sauerkrau/pep/oni mix just to name a few items.

Breakfast plan on ham steaks & scamble eggs with percolator coffee and Tang.
